Meatloaf
This is our
favorite recipe for meatloaf. It's easy, it's
delicious, and it's different from normal
meatloaf.

white bread

onion, diced

celery, finely diced

soy sauce

1 tbl

fresh
ginger, grated

2 tbl + ½ cup
|
hoisin sauce
|
2 tbl

ketchup |
Preheat the oven
to 350°. While the oven is heating, line a baking pan with
aluminum foil and spray it with non-stick cooking spray. .
In a large mixing bowl, mix the pork, beef, bread, onion, celery,
eggs, soy sauce,
ginger, and the 2 tbl of hoisin sauce together. Do this with your
hands and make sure everything is well
distributed.
Form the meat mixture into a nice loaf. Place the meatloaf in the
middle of the pan you prepared earlier, and bake it, uncovered,
for 40 minutes. While the meatloaf is baking, mix the ½ cup or
hoisin sauce and ketchup.
After baking the meatloaf for 40 minutes, take it out of the oven
and drain any grease from the pan. Pour the ketchup/hoisin
sauce mixture
over the top of the meatloaf and coat it well with a brush.
Put the meatloaf back in the oven and bake for another 20 minutes.
Remove the meatloaf from the oven and
let it rest for ten minutes. Slice and serve.
