Sangria

Sangria


1½ L bottle
white Merlot
1½ cup
sugar
1 cup
water
2
oranges
1
lime

Heat the water to boiling in a small pot.  Add the sugar and stir until it dissolves then let it cool.  Pour the Merlot into a pitcher.  Add the sugar water.  Slice the oranges and limes approximately ¼" thick and remove any seeds.  Add the sliced oranges and lime to the pitcher.  Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
